THE WINTER AIR // LYRICS The sights and scents of the storm. The drip, drip, dripping of raindrops on the floor. So tell me, when does the pain and suffering end? 'Cuz I wanna know when I can begin my life again. A life beyond the broken hinges of the doors we crashed through. Take in the subtle twinges of the winter air on your tongue. A life beyond the broken hinges is a life I want to live. The nights I've spent lying awake. The telltale signs of insanity never break. So tell me, when does the pain and suffering end? 'Cuz I wanna know when I can begin my life again. A life beyond the broken hinges of the doors we crashed through. Take in the subtle twinges of the winter air on your tongue. A life beyond the broken hinges is a life I want to live. So tell me, when does the pain and suffering end? 'Cuz I wanna know when I can begin my life again. I wanna know when I can begin my life again. A life beyond the broken hinges of the doors we crashed through. Take in the subtle twinges of the winter air on your tongue. A life beyond the broken hinges is a life I want to live.

Peace 03:08
PEACE // LYRICS I sit I watch And observe the beauty that surrounds me: Trees of every kind fill my vision; evergreens, maples, oaks Their leaves blow gently in the breeze, swaying in a peaceful rhythm One slowly departs its mother, reminding me that autumn is fast approaching Way up above me, I notice the massive cushions That consume the atmosphere An endless gray sheet, yet it is not dull It shines with the fury of the sun, Desperately trying to push its way through. Bees whizz by my head, their golden bands visible, Paired with bars of darkness A few swallows engage in a game of tag, playfully darting after each other Some dragonflies begin to do the same, almost by some eerie coincidence. I close my eyes I can’t possibly notice much more, can I? All of a sudden, the whirr of a lawnmower fills my ears How did I not pick that up before? Countless different pitches of bird chirps and calls ring in the distance Tiny blips and squeaks of communication The constant buzzing of cicadas orchestrates the aural background of my lawn I don’t want this to end I want to smell rain and flowers and dirt forever Not sweat. Not pencil erasers. No fear. No shame. I want to feel nature Run through my veins.
3.
LITTLE VOICES // LYRICS Maybe if I laugh it off, It will get better. So much better. Will I fall under, or stay afloat? Maybe it's not so bad at all, This little voice inside my head, Plotting my every downfall.

Potpourri 06:17
POTPOURRI // LYRICS Why do you write me off, like a pen on a paper, scribbling soft? I don’t want none of this, no, I don’t want none of this, no. Why have we fallen apart? Are we losing everything that we had from the start? I can’t hold on to you for too much longer. I can’t pretend I’m weak when I am stronger. Speak for the day, and let your words ring out above the noise. Your choice to feel like you belong here. Why do you fight me off? Is there something I’m missing? Did I go wrong? I don’t want none of this, no, I don’t want none of this, no. Can we just wipe it clean and start it again ‘cuz I believe I can’t hold on to you for too much longer. I can’t pretend I’m weak when I am stronger. Speak for the day, and let your words ring out above the noise. Your choice to feel like you belong here. To feel like you belong here. To be quite honest, it’s hard to watch you go. Like we’re tectonic, shifting slow. Shifting slow. The ground far below. Somehow, some day, We’ll negate the loss of life along the way. Sometime, some way, We’ll reject the guiding words we have to say.

about

I'm proud to present my first EP, "The Winter Air"! So much hard work and time was put into this release, as it is 100% self-produced, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. These songs are basically all of my thoughts, expressed in music, with the goal of total transparency. It was definitely difficult to let out some of these feelings, but it has helped me so much to do so. I hope you all enjoy it!
